April 18, 2012 Meet the Dem Candidates 5PM
(Darlington) Public Forum at the Super 8 Motel/Bridges Restaurant, 201 Christensen Dr., Darlingron. The Meet and Greet starts at 5 p.m., the forum begins promptly at 6 p.m. The Bridges Restaurant begins serving their evening meal at 5 p.m. for those who want to order dinner.
Candidates who plan to participate in the forum include:
-Kathleen Vinehout, candidate for Governor. She currently State Senator of the 31st Senate District from Alma.
-Mahlon Mitchell, candidate for Lieutenant Governor. He is currently President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin.
-Maureen “Mo” May-Grimm, from Mineral Point, candidate for the 51st Assembly District, serving second term on Mineral Point School Board.
-Patrick Bomhack, of Dodgeville, candidate for the 51st Assembly District. (Note: The re-mapped 51st Assembly District covers all or parts of Lafayette, Iowa, Green counties and four southwestern Sauk County townships. This Assembly seat is currently held by Republican Howard Marklein.)
And all four candidates running for the 2nd Congressional District of Wisconsin.(Note: The 2nd CD covers all or part of Lafayette, Dane, Green, Iowa, Sauk, Richland and Rock counties.)
-Kelda Helen Roys, currently represents the 81st Assembly District, from northwestern Dane County
-Mark Pocan, currently represents the 78th Assembly District, from the east side of Madison
-Dave Worzala, currently Dane County Treasurer, Madison resident
-Matt Silverman, Madison resident.
