April 20, 2019 Become an ESL Tutor Training Noon-3PM

(Dodgeville) WELCOME IMMIGRANTS: BECOME A VOLUNTEER ENGLISH-AS-A-SECOND- LANGUAGE (ESL) TUTOR The next Free Tutor Training for learning how to become an ESL volunteer tutor will be Saturday, April 20, noon to 3 p.m. at Grace Space Hall, Grace Lutheran Church, 1105 N. Bequette (upper level) in Dodgeville. As our ESL volunteers will tell you, helping local immigrant adults learn our language is a wonderful way to counter what is happening at our southern border. You do not need to speak a second language to become a tutor. For more information or to sign up, contact Luz N. Burkard at [email protected] or call her at 608-642-1753. This program is sponsored by the MultiCultural Outreach Program (MCOP), a program of SWCAP.
