December 2, 2010 Iowa County Area Entrepreneurs Club Meeting 6PM

How you present your business to customers can make the difference between success and failure.

Join us this Thursday, December 2 at 6 PM in Dodgeville(Stonefield Apartments) for this month�s presentation: �Communicating in Business. Selling From �The Front of the House: How to sell yourself and stand out from the competition�

Our presenter will be Michelle Smith, long time independent businesswoman and educator with extensive experience in food and retail businesses for over 20 years.

Ms. Smith will focus on many ways that entrepreneurs can use their �common sense, good will and humor� to deal with customers and the public in business situations. Using her extensive restaurant and food business experience, Ms. Smith will include ideas for encouraging positive outcomes, diffusing difficult customer situations and finding ways to highlight what you do best. According to Ms. Smith, �Sales is being yourself�. Come and learn how you can infuse this sales attitude into all aspects of your business and customer experiences.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Bring your curiosity and your questions!

Networking among attendees will be encouraged in the evening's program. "Our goal is to grow our network of entrepreneurs, small businesses, innovators and those that support them in the Iowa County area", said Rick Terrien, Executive Director of ICAEDC.

The Iowa County Area Entrepreneurs Club is an informational forum where entrepreneurs, inventors, existing businesses, new businesses and people thinking about starting their own businesses can come together to encourage each other and share challenges and opportunities. The group meets on a monthly basis, usually the fourth Wednesday of the month.
