Richland Center, Plain, Spring Green, Dodgeville, Hollandale and Platteville on Friday, February 11

Senator Dale Schultz will be in Richland Center, Plain, Spring Green, Dodgeville, Hollandale and Platteville on Friday, February 11. Dale welcomes all community members to join him at stops during the day, including at listening sessions he�s holding where he will be available to discuss any issue or concern.

Dale will start the day in Richland Center with a listening session from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at Papa�s Donuts, 101 S. Church Street. He will be available to talk with any community member on any subject. Scott and Kelly Coppernoll own Papa�s, 647.6090, [email protected].

From 9:00 to 9:30, Dale will participate in a meeting of County Public Health Officers from the southwest region, in the boardroom of the County Courthouse, 181 W. Seminary Street, Richland Center.

In Plain, Dale will meet with Tom and Ryan Kraemer at Kraemer Brothers, LLC. They will discuss ideas for how state government can help employers keep and create good local jobs.

In Spring Green, from 11:30 to noon, Dale will hold a community listening session in the conference room of Jewell & Associates, with owner Greg Jewell hosting. The location is just off Highway 14 at 560 Sunrise Drive.

In Dodgeville, from 12:30 to 1:50 p.m., Dale will be at Las Brisas Restaurant to discuss regional job creation strategies with Wally Orzechowski, Executive Director, Southwest Wisconsin Community Action Program. Representative Howard Marklein will join them. Community members are welcome to join for a Dutch treat lunch. Las Brisas is located in a former Shell truck stop at 1049 Bennett Road. In Hollandale, from 2:30 to 4:00, Dale will host a Community Forum on Broadband with representatives of Frontier Communications the area�s Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier, including Joanne Johnson, State Director for Government and External Relations and Terry Kucera, Regional General Manager. All residents interested in the supply and demand for quality, affordable broadband in the region are encouraged to attend. The forum will be held at the American Legion Hall/Village Hall, 200 5th Avenue, hosted by Village Clerk Bryan Lisser, 967.2600. Participants in the forum will also include State Representative Howard Marklein and Ricky Rolfsmeyer, Executive Director, Wisconsin Rural Partners.

In Platteville, from 5:00 to 8:00, Senator Schultz will participate in a Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration. The event, at Steve�s Pizza, 175 W. Main Street, will include Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary, Stephanie Klett and the premiere of the latest Discover Wisconsin feature, �Platteville � The Gateway to Southwest Wisconsin�.
