Grassroots Citizens of Wisconsin invites you to be a vital part of PEOPLE, PIE AND THE COMMON GOOD an afternoon of provocation, passion, positive thinking and delicious homemade pies.

Sunday, November 13, 2 to 5 p.m. at the historic, newly renovated Wyoming Valley School, 6306 St. Hwy 23, Spring Green

Every year our Grassroots friends and neighbors get together to think anew about the things that provoke our passions – and to grapple with ideas we haven’t even thought of before. Call it our mini Aspen Institute – right here in southwest Wisconsin. It’s easy to get tired. But this event helps us “rev” our engines and contemplate what it means to be a citizen in a time of rapid, radical change. Jay Heck, executive director of Common Cause of Wisconsin, will kick off our discussion.
