October 4, 2013 "Hungry for Change" Film & Discussion 7PM

(doors open at 6 p.m.) “HUNGRY FOR CHANGE” -- FREE MOVIE NIGHT AT THE MINERAL POINT OPERA HOUSE. A riveting film, Hungry for Change, exposes the secrets that the diet, weight loss and food industries are hiding from consumers and particularly from parents. You’ll find out why a leading medical journal predicts, for the first time in 1,000 years, today’s children may not live as long as their parents. You’ll hear the inspiring stories of people who took their lives back when they discovered they were eating themselves sick. A lively Q&A discussion -- with Dr. Sarah Fox, Rink DaVee of Shooting Star Farms, Robin Timm of Platteville’s Driftless Market and David Parr of Paarfection Produce -- will follow the free movie screening, funded by Grassroots Citizens of Wisconsin.
