April 7, 2014 Iowa County High Capacity Power Line Discussions

Action concerning potential high capacity power line expansion through Iowa Co. is moving quickly. Two town boards are meeting this week to consider passing a resolution that requests a cost / benefit analysis before further plans proceed. WE NEED CONCERNED FOLKS TO BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THESE MEETINGS. You won't be asked to speak, but we need folks to be present to encourage these boards to pass this common sense resolution. PLEASE CONSIDER ATTENDING EITHER OR BOTH MEETINGS even if you don't live in these townships!

Monday, April 7, 7:00pm, Eden Township Office, about two blocks north on Hwy 80 from where it intersects Hwy 18 in Cobb. Office on the east side of road. Plenty of parking area.

Thursday - April 10 - 6:00pm - Dodgeville Town Hall, 108 E. Leffler St. (Right behind the A & W) This is the first item on the agenda. Feel free to leave once this agenda item is addressed.
