February 15, 2018 Dodgeville Quality of Life

The Dodgeville Quality of Life Committee will meet Thursday, February 15 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Plymouth UCC, 115 W. Merrimac in Dodgeville. Please enter at the Main St. entrance. All individuals interested in the betterment of Dodgeville are welcome to attend. For more information, contact David Oesper at [email protected] or call 930-2120.

Discussion topics for this meeting will include:

• Gradual replacement of Dodgeville’s orangish high-pressure sodium streetlights with bluish-white LEDs that are 2.5x as bright
• Any other discussion topic of interest to you
• Scheduling our next meeting in April
• If time permits, we may also discuss a much-needed community auditorium at Dodgeville High School, and vacancies on the Iowa County Board of Supervisors with no one expressing interest in running.

If you get a chance before Thursday’s meeting, take a look at the new LED streetlights at the intersections of N. Johnson & W. Washington, S. Virginia Ct. & W. Walnut, and Vern Ct. & W. Clarence.

Please note that at the time of our meeting there will be the first of two focus group meetings at the Dodgeville High School library to explore the auditorium and other facilities issues and the development of a community survey to gauge community sentiment. We apologize for inadvertently scheduling our meeting at the same time. There will, however, be the opportunity to attend the second focus group meeting on March 6 at 6:00 p.m.
