July 11, 2010 WiNK Grand Opening 11AM to 4PM

MINERAL POINT, The Grand Opening of the Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen (WiNK) at 851 Dodge Street (old Bus. 151) in Mineral Point is Sunday July 11, from 11 AM to 4 PM with a ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. The Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen is a state of the art community-access commercial kitchen. It will be available on a rental basis for those with appropriate food processing certifications. It is also available to do custom food processing of other people's recipes in short run, artisan batches. It's located in the former Miner's Point restaurant.

Tours of the new building & Chef Joel Olson, a nationally recognized culinary instructor will have food demonstrations & talk about "Everyday Cooking with Wisconsin Local Foods", Refreshments provided, future class sign-ups available.
