June 30, 2018 Families Belong Together March

(Mineral Point)Join us at Watertower Park on Saturday 30th. We will rally at the park at 4pm, then finish up at Esperanza at 5pm - what better way to end our show of outrage than to congregate at a bar whose name translates to ‘HOPE’.

The new executive order that Donald Trump signed is not a solution to the crisis created by his administration; it keeps kids imprisoned indefinitely, and doesn't reunite thousands of separated families. But it does show the administration is reacting to public pressure, so we will continue to increase our pressure for justice. Join us on Saturday, June 30, to say that families belong together—and jailing children WITH the parents is not the answer!
